The food processing and packaging firm Tetra Pak has invested USD 110 million in the construction of a manufacturing facility to keep up with the growing needs of the Asia Pacific region. The new facility in Ho Chi Minh City will be the first ever paper-board carton factory in Vietnam.
“The new factory reflects Tetra Pak’s confidence in the local economy, and will cater to a rise in domestic consumption for healthy, ready-to-drink beverages among the country’s growing middle class,” said Robert Graves, managing director of Tetra Pak Vietnam.
