Among the 25 people injured after a tour bus ran into the back of a seven-seat SUV on Wednesday 5 April 2017 was a 72-year-old Swedish man.
The accident happened on the Asian Highway in Phun Phin district in Southern Thailand around 4am, police said.
44 passengers were onboard the bus as it ran into the SUV, which was driven by Ulf Tor-Bjorn Windefjord, the 72-year-old Swede who sustained minor injuries.
The impact caused the bus to overturn and 24 of the passengers were admitted to hospitals for minor injures afterwards.
