On Monday 27 March, the Thai Norwegian Chamber of Commerce and the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Bangkok co-hosted an event with dtac and the Telenor Group. The event was hosted by dtac Accelerate in the Hangar co-working space, and the aim was to present their company to former Thai exchange students to Norway. This is a group of students that speak Norwegian and have good knowledge of Norwegian culture. They have a unique competence that can be of interest to Norwegian companies in Thailand. The Thai – Norwegian Chamber of Commerce hopes that this event was the first of more similar events. We would like to offer this as a service to our members, as a new way to connect with potential new employees.
Our host had prepared an interesting program with a tour of the working space and presentations of two successful start-ups: Skootar and Takemetour. See website for more information; http://accelerate.dtac.co.th/en/Programs
H.E. Kjetil Paulsen opened the event with a short introduction, followed by a few introductory remarks by the chambers new Executive Director Anne-Kari Gulliksen. All Premium members were also invited to the event.
