A 24-year-old Swedish man was found dead in the swimmingpool of a hotel on Koh Chang at 5 am on Saturday 14 January 2017.
The Swede was not a guest of the hotel, but he and two other foreigners were seen swimming around the pool a couple of hours earlier. Witnesses believe the three to be clearly drunk.
After returning to the pool area a couple of hours later, the witnesses found the deceased 24-year-old. Police arrived at the scene, but they did not find any evidence that the Swede had been exposed to violence. The investigation continues, and the two other foreigners, who were guests at the hotel, will be interrogated.
