The Neon Lights 2016 in Singapore have added two Swedish artists to the music festival’s lineup.
José González, the Swedish alternative folk singer, have been announced to play at festival, where the singer/songwriter, The Tallest Man on Earth, also from Sweden, is set to perform.
Neon Lights in Singapore was launched in 2015 attended by 10.000 fans. The upcoming festival is therefore the second edition of its kind and will take place on 27 and 28 November in Fort Canning Park, over six seperate stages.
“We feel we’re upping the ante with the range and quality of music acts in this year’s festival, with a strong mix of international acts who proven audiences in Singapore alongside the best new stars from the Singaporean indie scene,” said Declan Forde, festival director of Neon Lights to Channel News Asia.
The festival is headlined, among others, by another Scandinavian act – Icelandic post-rock band, Sigur Rós. The festival’s lineup covers a range of genres, from headlining British indie rock band, Foals, to the New York hip-hop group, Sugarhill Gang.
As the lineup suggests, Neon Lights 2016 will feature acts for everyone.
