Sometimes we can predict that there will be a crisis, however in most cases a crisis comes from an unexpected event. Your organisation has to make decisions quickly to limit damage and interruption to your business. Training for a potential crisis by using scenario exercises is an efficient and valuable tool to help you and your team prepare. In this workshop you will work through a simulated crisis that will make you think about your own organisation and what you may need to do.
We will start with an introduction to Crisis Management by our two experienced speakers: Rune Fjellstad, Director of Safety and Security for Telenor in Asia, and Andrew Durieux, who has worked with Crisis Management in the ASEAN region for over 20 years, with organizations such as the UN and the Red Cross.
The Royal Norwegian Embassy in Bangkok will also have a short introduction on how they work on security issues in Thailand.
Then we will conduct the scenario using the attendees and a simulation – you will participate. Can you handle it? How will you react?
